Exterior work is almost complete on the new warehouse building just east of downtown Benicia for Ponder Environmental. The project replaced an aging post and beam structure with a new flexible commercial space. The offset gable roof form was retained but raised and extended north and south to provide covered porches. The building roof and walls are clad in profiled metal, the exposed wood beams and soffit paneling is select tight knot cedar.
